Brief From History
On the 11th of November, 1986, troublesome Oluyemi, known by friends as “Olu Ijogbon” and later “Agbako”, had an encounter with God that changed his course and direction in life. The dramatic encounter was a major turning point as the former street fighter became a street preacher.
From that moment, God’s hand upon his life become evident as he is used of God in diverse ways and capacities. Starting from his tertiary education where he was the President of Evangelical Christian Union (ECU), a christian fellowship through to also being the President of the Nigerian Christian Corpers’ Fellowship, (NCCF) Borno State Chapter (1993/94).
Rev’d ‘Yemi Graceman Aduloju was ordained into the pastoral ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ in 1995 by Presiding Pastor of Livingspring Chapel International, Pastor Femi Emmanuel, where he served as a pastor for about 11 years. Burning with a greater passion for service, like a steward who must give account of his stewardship, and with a mandate to show the power of God to this and coming generation, and raise models of integrity and power, he consulted and demanded a release from his pastorate under the Chapel.
He was released on Sunday, 9th of April, 2006 exactly 11 years after his commissioning (April 9th 1995). On Sunday, April, 16th 2006, Lighthouse International Christian Centre was born.
And in these years of her existence, IT COULD ONLY HAVE BEEN GOD!
